It has a well-organized 18 bedded multidisciplinary Main ICU and a 12 bedded step-down ICU offering the best treatment and technologies, for the survival of the patients who are acutely and critically ill. Our ICU is designed and managed based on the fact that methodical organisation of services influences importantly the overall outcome measures such as mortality, length of stay and infection rates.A lot of emphasis is also placed on areas like post-graduation training, nurses’ training, standardizing care through clinical pathways, research activities, ATLS/ACLS/BLS training courses for doctors and paramedics, M.Sc.
