Plastic Surgery

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery is the first Superspecialty department to be set up in KIMS & RC. Since it’s inception in 1991 has always been in the forefront in managing all kinds of surgeries related to trauma, reconstruction and cosmesis as well as Microvascular Surgeries.

Since last five years, emphasis is laid on increasing the volume of work and to make KIMS one of the premier centres for all kinds of Plastic Surgery procedures. Greater emphasis has been laid on teaching of the Post-Graduate students with the aim and vision of of starting Super Speciality Course(M.Ch) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, which will be beneficial not only to the post-graduate students but also to the Institute at large.

The highly experienced team at the Dept of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at KIMS & RC is adept in treating patients related to Cosmetic Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Reconstructive Surgery & Microsurgery and Burns.
