The central laboratory Microbiology in KIMS hospital & research Centre, provides 24×7 diagnostic facilities with reliable results and reduced rates.

The facilities available in the department are Bacterial culture and sensitivity, Fungal culture and sensitivity, RNTCP for tuberculosis, Serological tests like HIV, Hepatitis B ,Hepatitis C, PCT,CRP,VDRL,ASLO, RA factor, ELISA for Dengue, Parasitology like stool for ova and cysts, Blood for malaria and filaria, RTPCR for Covid 19 by gene xpert method

The laboratory works in collaboration with clinical departments to correlate clinically with scope for research.
