Activities During 2008 |
The department is involved in undergraduate teaching and Postgraduate teaching. The department is part of Central laboratory attached to KIMS Hospital. The laboratory has emergency, routine and special facilities.
A research project on plasma homocysteine levels in the general population has been taken up.

Departmental Achievements : |
The department of Biochemistry, has advanced research facilities and excellent postgraduate training and research program. Ten postgraduates students in M.D. Biochemistry and three Ph.d. Candidates have passed out of the department.
Department conducts regular CME program and guest lectures . |
