INFRASTRUCTURE
  1. Adequate, well qualified experienced teaching staff.
  2. Dissection hall- 130x30 feet with 20 dissection tables, with mortuary.
  3. Museum with, wet & dry specimen & Models, Museum size:- 100x30 feet.
  4. Histology laboratory for both undergraduate and Post graduate, requirements, available independently. Histology lab size: 80x30 feet Preparation room and post graduate labs available including facilities for photography.
  5. Lecture classes, Demonstration room, Seminar room, departmental Library available.

The department  is involved in Under Graduate and Post Graduate Teaching and other Paramedical Courses.

  1. Arterial Supply of Thumb
  2. Comparative Histological study of Appendix.
  3. A Study of “ Musculo cutaneous  Nerve and its variations” in Human
  4. Determination of Sex in Hyoid bone obtained from cadavers  in Medical colleges in  and around  Bangalore  by  Anthropometric Study.
  5. Morphological changes in placenta and umbilical  cord  due  to Hypertension and its  effect  on  fetus.
  6. A  study  on  Blood supply of Kidney and its variation.
  7. Psychological aspects of voluntary body donations to Medical colleges in collaboration with Dept., of Mental Health & Social Psychology,  NIMHANS, Bangalore.
  8. Short Term effect of Lead Toxicity on Liver, Brain & Kidney.
  9. Variations  in  popliteal  artery  and  its  termination.
  10. Variations in the shapes of  coronoid   process  in adult human mandibles.
