Awards given  every year during graduation day ceremony

  1. Subject wise Merit award
    Rs.1000/= cash award with merit certificate in all subjects viz., Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Pediatrics, General Medicine, General surgery, Obstetrics  and Gynecology.
        
    Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in the concerned subjects in the University examination.

  2. Dr. Seetharam Reddy Memorial Award
       
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in Microbiology subjects in the University examination.

  3. Kum. Suma Jayaram Memorial Endowment Prize
        
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in General Medicine subjects in the University examination.

  4. Smt. Lakshmamma Channaiah Memorial Gold Medal
        
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS  in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in General Medicine subjects in the University examination.

  5. Dr. R Srinivas Memorial Gold Medal
        
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in General Medicine subjects in the University examination.

  6. Sri Kariappa Memorial Gold Medal
        
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in General Surgery subjects in the University examination.

  7. Sri B J Lingegowda  Memorial Gold Medal
        
          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in Obstetrics and Gynecology subjects in the University examination.

  8. Smt. Sarojamma  Eregowda Memorial Gold Medal
              
           Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM. 
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in Final MBBS Part-II subjects in the University examination.

  9. Sri Mallur Putaswamy Gowda Memorial Gold Medal
        
          Eligibility criteria   
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. Secured HIGHEST marks in Pediatrics subjects in the University examination.

  10. Prof. C Vital Golden Independence Commemorative Conference Award

          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.     
    2. A three member committee of Heads of the Departments may be constituted to identify the Awardee.
    3. The student should have passed all the examinations regularly without any failures and within minimum number of years as prescribed by the University.
    4. The student should have received the maximum aggregate marks in the subjects of all the years.
    5. Such a student should have received minimum of 60% of marks in the aggregate.
    6. Award need not be given if an eligible student is not found for that year. 
    7. Weightage can be given for students showing excellence in other areas like Sports,  Social service and Debate etc.

  11. Sri K Singri Gowda Memorial Gold Medal for KIMS best out going student

          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have passed all the subjects of Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III MBBS in FIRST ATTEMPT WITHOUT ANY FAILURES OR ABSENTIESM.
    2. A minimum of 60% aggregate from all subjects.
    3. Should have represented College in University/State/Cultural/Social service.   
    4. Should have an exemplary conduct and character.

      (Note: If a suitable candidate is not available, award may be deferred)

  12. Cultural excellence award (Applicable to all interns who have started internship in a particular year)

          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have represented College in the areas of Cultural activities at least in the Inter-collegiate and should have received awards.
    2. Any award/recognition by State/Central Academies for excellence in cultural activities.
    3. Should have exemplary conduct and character.

  13. Sports excellence award

          Eligibility criteria
    1. The student should have represented College in the areas of sports at least University/State/National level.
    2. Should have exemplary conduct and character.

  14. Sri C Balagopal Memorial Gold Medal for highest in M S (General Surgery)
