Paramedics form a large groups of work force in the health sector. They are a very important part of the team which includes doctors and nursing staff.
In a multispecialty hospital, most of the specialties have paramedical staff whose task is cut out, in the pursuit of providing complete and quality health care.
KIMS Hospital has a vast experience in educating, medical under graduates (MBBS) and Post graduates (MD & MS) for past 41 years, and is always known for providing quality education. Adding to this, is the newly started KIMS Hospital Paramedical College established in the year 2020. It is affiliated to Paramedical Board, Govt. of Karnataka(PMB 540/20). Seven(07) diploma courses in various specialties are offered, i.e, Diploma in Dialysis Technology , Diploma in Health Inspector, Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology , Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Diploma in Medical Record Technology, Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology, Diploma in OT and Anesthesia Technology. The annual intake for diploma courses is 140 with 20 seats in each of the 7 courses.
The vast teaching experience of medical faculty from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences and faculty of basic sciences from V.V.Puram Science College will ensure academic excellence with relevant skill based training. With a hospital bed strength 1040 and busy OPDs, paramedical students are bound to get adequate hands on training in various courses, which will empower them with required skill.
